Home > Steve Norris Weather > RAIN INCREASING

Scattered showers, Breezy and Mild for Thursday with a high temperature near 60. We have an 80% chance of rain Thursday night with a low near 50 degrees. Friday is going to be a wet one with a 100% chance and temperatures in the 50s. Colder air will quickly move in Friday night and we have a chance of mixed Frozen precipitation and some of that could be freezing rain and sleet so roads could get slick quickly Friday evening. We have a chance of light snow on Saturday and cold but right now the main part of this snow system looks like it will go to our West and to our North. As I have been talking about in my radio broadcast the last couple of days, we get about 1 System per winter where West Tennessee and the area between Nashville and Memphis get more snow than we do from a system and this looks like that is going to be one of those. I will have many updates for you over the next couple of days and if you’re going to do any travel to the west or north you might want to reconsider . Be prepared for a very cold weekend with highs in the upper 20s and lows in the teens.
