The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking into an incident where a deputy in Hawkins County fatally shot a man during a warrant service. TBI Agents say the shooting occurred Monday afternoon when Hawkins County Deputies were trying to serve warrants out of Dickenson County, Virginia, on 25-year-old Eugene Loftis of Church Hill. In the statement, the TBI says that deputies found Loftis in a car in the driveway of a residence and ordered him to show his hands.
