The Kmart store in Crossville is among the latest round of closures announced by the chain’s parent company Sears Holdings. The company released a list yesterday of nearly 100 Kmart and Sears stores and the one in Crossville appears on it. No Sears stores in Tennessee are included in this round of closures. The company says eligible associates impacted by the closures will receive severance and will be able to apply for open positions at other stores. Liquidation sales at these stores are set to begin as early as January 12. The store is expected to be closed by early April.
