The Knoxville Bomb Squad was sent to Rockwood last night to Walmart where a bomb threat was called into the store. According to Rockwood Police Chief Bill Stinnett, their officers along with the Rockwood Fire Department got to the store and cleared the building allowing no one to enter until the entire store could be swept by a bomb sniffing dog. The process resulted in the store being closed for over two hours. After the search was completed, no threat was found and the store was re-opened. Chief Stinnett said they are checking leads and the investigation is ongoing.
