Cumberland County firefighters responded to a house blaze this afternoon (Friday, December 29, 2017) at the 900th block of Rodgers Road in the Pleasant Hill area. Crews arrived on scene to see smoke coming from the double wide mobile home. Fire officials say 50 percent of the residence was affected by the fire that spread from a fireplace into the attic. One woman at the scene was checked out by emergency medical personnel. No other injuries were reported. The American Red Cross was called in to assist the ones living there in finding a temporary place to stay.
