MTSU defeated Arkansas State yesterday (Saturday, December 16, 2017) in the Camellia Bowl by the score of 35-30 win. The Blue Raiders controlled most of the game in the first half, keeping one of the most potent offenses in the country in check. Quarterback Brent Stockstill, playing in his last game for MTSU, overcame three interceptions to finish 19 of 35 for 232 yards and two touchdowns. This was MTSU’s first bowl win since the 2009 New Orleans Bowl. The win snapped a four-game losing streak in bowl games for the Blue Raiders.
