TWO ARRESTED AFTER VEHICLE ACCIDENT

Two individuals are facing charges following a traffic accident yesterday (Thursday, December 14, 2017) in Roane County. Deputies responded to the scene near the 2400th block of Sugar Grove Valley Road where they saw a maroon colored Dodge down an embankment. According to the report, 35-year-old Ryan Parker Price of Oliver Springs and 29-year-old Megan Chantell Price were in the vehicle involved in an altercation. Deputies say Ryan Price struck her in the face twice. While driving, Ryan Price reportedly pulled the emergency brake causing the vehicle to go out of control and off the road. Ryan was transported to Roane Medical Center for treatment of a laceration to the head then to jail for reckless endangerment, domestic assault and warrants for violation of bond conditions and failure to appear. Megan Price was also taken to jail on warrants for violation of probation.
