HIGH-SPEED CHASE RESULTS IN ONE ARREST

A Van Buren County man is facing charges in Cumberland County following a high-speed pursuit with officers. According to the arrest report, a deputy on patrol observed a red Ford Ranger driven by 47-year-old Steven Ray England of Spencer on Bell Road traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer attempted to stop England who engaged the deputy in a chase that ended at the intersection of Howard Springs Road and Highway 70. England was charged with reckless driving, theft of property, resisting arrest, driving on a revoked or suspended license, and evading arrest.
