MONROE COUNTY MAN SUSPECTED OF STEALING MOUNTED BOAR’S HEAD

Monroe County Authorities have arrested a man suspected of stealing hunting trophies from a storage bin. Police allege that 27-year-old Phillip Goca of Madisonville broke into the Willowbrooke Storage units located in Tellico Plains, and stole a mounted boar’s head and several deer antler wreaths. According to the report, the victim’s of the theft observed Goco carrying the items near the storage unit and chased after him. Goco then dropped the items and was cornered in a pile of brush until officers arrived. Goco was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Jail.
