The Governor of Tennessee has announced a $5000 reward for information leading to the arrest of an unknown suspect responsible for the murder of a Bristol Walmart employee. Sullivan County District Attorney General Barry Staubs requested the governor’s help in the case in hopes to generate leads. Michael Heatherly was shot down this past September in the store’s parking lot as he was walking to car. It’s believed that the suspect fired from a vehicle parked in an adjacent parking space. People with information about the case can contact Bristol Tennessee Police Department Detective Justin Bush at 423-989-5530 or jbush@bristoltn.org.
