A Rockwood man was arrested by Cumberland County deputies following a second vehicle chase. According to the arrest report, a deputy saw a truck driven by 47-year-old Timothy Joe Taylor fail to stop at the intersection of Westel Road and Highway 70 East. The officer recognized the vehicle from a pursuit that took place back on November 25, 2017. Taylor again ran from police in the truck but this time his vehicle got stuck on a trail off of a road. A search of Taylor and the truck reportedly revealed two bags of marijuana, one bag of meth, digital scales and two glass pipes. Taylor was charged with four counts of manufacture, sale and delivery of drugs, three counts of evading arrest and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Taylor was also wanted on two outstanding warrants out of Morgan County. Taylor was transported to the Cumberland County jail and initially placed under $53,000 bond.
