ROAD CLOSURES IN CROSSVILLE FOR CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

The Crossville Police Department will shut down Main Street from Miller Bypass on the north end heading south to Highway 70 STARTING AT 1 PM TODAY (Saturday, December 9, 2017). You will not be able to cross over Main Street from the side roads in the area Main Street is closed starting at 1 p.m. until the conclusion of the parade around 6-7 p.m. The parade will get underway at 4:30 pm central ALSO, Miller Avenue will also be closed about the same time today from 4th Street to Old Lantana Road. Crossville police requests that if you are not planning on attending any of the events downtown for the Christmas celebration, it is recommended that you avoid traveling through the downtown area. If you are planning to attend the events and the parade, it will be very cold. Temperatures will get into the mid 30’s today with winds gusting up to 20 miles per hour setting up chill factors in the teens. Tonight and during the parade, temperatures are expected to be below freezing with winds still gusting up to 15 miles per hour. Dress warm and enjoy!
