A family who recently moved to Crossville from New Jersey has been devastated by an act of vandalism. The Collet family, consisting of a mother, father and 8-year-old daughter purchased a home on Turkey Blind Road a few years ago as a possible retirement home. After being laid off from his job in October, Mr. Collet decided to move to the Crossville house since it had already been paid for. When the family moved, they found the house in complete disarray with the appliances stolen, heating and air units ripped out along with the home’s wiring. The Collets are currently living in a hotel while the family is working on repairs. A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family.  If you have any information pertaining to the vandalism of the Collet’s home, please call the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Dept. at 931-484-6176.
