Sheriff Mike Neal and the Rhea County Sheriff’s Department would like to thank their community partners, individuals and businesses alike, for their continued support of the Angel Tree and Toys for Kids programs. For many children in Rhea County, this is the only Christmas they will have. Over 1,000 kids received presents last year. The Angel Tree is located in the McDonald’s in Walmart in Dayton. “I’m hoping the community will really step up this year too,” says Sheriff Neal. “I’m hoping that we beat our goal of a thousand and help more kids this year. Hopefully we’ll help over 1,200 this year.” Pick a name and card off the tree and deliver gifts with name tag to the Rhea County Sheriff’s Department before December 12, 2017 and you’ll put a smile on child’s face this Christmas.
