The City of Kingston provided 1,000 families with a Thanksgiving dinner yesterday (Wednesday, November 22, 2017). City officials say the Hands of Mercy food pantry in Kingston helped collect and donate the food passed out to ones in need. The annual program has grown from when it started 13 years ago. In the first year 120 families was served. Officials say the program this year was the biggest and the best thanks to generous donations from individuals and businesses. Officials want to thank the numerous volunteers who helped in yesterday’s event.
