A Crossville church was the scene of a burglary Saturday. According to reports, the pastor’s office of the Crossville First Freewill Baptist Church was broken into. The door to the office which is always kept unlocked, was found locked and the office safe was found missing. Two $50 Walmart gift cards were also stolen from a desk drawer. The safe was found inside a utility room where its door had been cut off using the church’s electric saw, which was discovered on the floor. A Lowe’s credit card was the only thing of value taken from the safe. Loss and damage was estimated at $265 and the investigation is ongoing.
