A Crossville man is recovering after being attacked in a robbery. According to the report from the Crossville Police Department, officers responded this week to a Stanley Street residence where they found a 20-year-old victim with a laceration to the head and his head covered in blood. The victim told officers that 38-year-old Tyvaughn Lemar Gainey of Crossville allegedly attacked him during an altercation. Gainey reportedly took money and a wallet out of the victims pants pocket after the attack. Medical first responders were called to the scene to transport the victim to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries including stitches for the laceration and a broken nose. A warrant was taken out for Gainey for aggravated robbery.
