Cumberland County authorities as well as the rescue squad were called to an area off of Tabor Loop last night (Monday, September 25, 2017) to find a man reported missing. Officers say 73-year-old Arthur “Pete” Peterson was last seen wearing blue jeans, a green t-shirt and a orange ball cap. Peterson was last seen in the Sunset Ridge/Summer Wind area off of Tabor Loop. Investigator Chad Norris told 105.7 News this morning (Tuesday, September 26, 2017) that Peterson’s wife last saw Pete starting to walk their property line of 20 acres. A tracking dog from the Crossville Police Department, a helicopter from the Tennessee Highway Patrol and a drone were all used to try to locate Peterson yesterday with no results. Peterson was not carrying a cell phone when he disappeared and has no known medical issues. According to authorities, as of 8 a.m. this morning, authorities are continuing their search for Peterson. If you have any information that can lead authorities to Peterson, call 911 or the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department at 484-6176.
