Two people were arrested by Crossville police Saturday (September 16, 2017) on charges. According to the police report, officers responded to Donna Lane for a suspicious person sitting in a gray Dodge Charger. Police received numerous complaints recently about possible drug activity at a residence on the street. Officers recognized the male in the vehicle, 20-year-old Tyler R. Owens, who was previously banned from the property. A check of Owens revealed a warrant for failure to appear. As officers were placing Owens under arrest, 22-year-old David Benjamin Robertson of Crossville, approached them. A consent search of Robertson’s vehicle allegedly revealed a stolen 9mm firearm. Robertson was charged with theft of property while Owens was served the failure to appear warrant and charged with criminal trespass. Both men were transported to the Cumberland County jail.
