An Anderson County young man is facing charges after allegedly killing a dog and setting a house on fire. Officers were called to a residence on the 200th block of Villanova Road where the father of 19-year-old Skyler Griffin told police he suspected that Griffin fatally hurt his dog and set his living room on fire. Officers say Griffin allegedly admitted to walking to his father’s residence, beating and stabbing the dog and setting fire to items on the living room floor before walking back to his own residence. Griffin was transported to the Anderson County jail and initially placed under a $86,000 bond.
