Morgan County Sheriff Glen Freytag said today (Tuesday, September 5, 2017) that his office responded to an area off of Airport Road last week after a tooth, possibly human, was found in a outbuillding. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was called in to assist the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office. The tooth was sent to the TBI lab for analysis. Sheriff Freytag said that there are no reports of a missing person in the county. Initial sources said last week a body was found but that was dismissed by the sheriff’s department and followed up with a “fragment” located.
