FIRE DESTROYS CONDO UNIT ON RENEGADE MOUNTAIN

Cumberland County firefighters responded to a condo unit at 127 Moytoy Road on Renegade Mountain in Crab Orchard just after 10 last night (Sunday, September 3, 2017) for a reported structure blaze. Cumberland County Fire Department Assistant Chief John Hall told 105.7 News today that one building that included eight dwellings was destroyed in the fire. Hall said nine units responded to the blaze that took a few hours to bring under control. Crews remained on the scene until 4:30 this morning and will return today to check for possible hot spots. The state fire marshals office is expected to arrive soon to determine a cause of the fire. No injuries were reported.
