FORMER CROSSVILLE CITY MANAGER EDWARD KIMSEY HAS PASSED AWAY

A former government figure in the Upper Cumberland area has passed away. Edward W. Kimsey was 85. He was a former city manager in Crossville serving from 1976 to 1981. Afterwards he served in the same capacity in Cookeville for a time. Funeral services for Edward Kimsey will be at 3 PM on Sunday, Sept. 3 at Hood Funeral Home with private family graveside services at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1-3 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Survivors: Wife- Merlyn, Daughters- Sandra McCord, Tanna Easley, Vicki Presson.
