According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2002 Acura driven by 18-year-old Juan Martinez of Nashville was traveling east at the 317 mile marker at a high rate of speed when he lost control attempting to pass another vehicle. The Acura then rolled over a couple of times and came to rest. A passenger in the vehicle, 18-year-old Ruben Villalobo of Antioch was ejected from the car.
