Richmond, Kentucky police is requesting the public’s assistance in solving a cold case. Officers say Karen Simpson and Avery “Boochie” Evans were killed in 2014 at their residence off of Valley Street. A relative told police he found the back door cracked open with a cement block nearby and later found the bodies inside. Police say they’ve interviewed a number of persons of interest over the years, but are no closer to an answer. However yesterday (Friday, August 11, 2017), they are sharing a new description of someone they are looking for from the night before the bodies were found. They describe him as a 16 or 17-year-old black male with short dreadlocks, shorts, a striped shirt, and something else concerning. There is a $10,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest in this case.
