Nearly a dozen area Vietnam veterans will board HonorAir Knoxville Flight 24 tomorrow morning (Wednesday, August 2, 2017) in route to Washington, D.C. and to see the military memorials. Event planners say the veterans will leave Cumberland County around 4:30 a.m. on a chartered bus to McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville and fly to Washington D.C. The group is scheduled to return to the Holiday Inn Express in Crossville on Peavine Road around 9:15 tomorrow night. The public is invited to welcome the veterans home.
