A suspect is being sought after he posed as a police officer and stole money from a Crossville Subway. Saturday, an employee of the store located at Highway 127 North received a call stating that the manager was in jail and needed $300 from the cash register to make bond. The subject identified himself as Sgt. Jackson from Sevier County. Two minutes later, the suspect, wearing a blue shirt and hat, entered the store, received the money and left again. A surveillance video of the incident is currently under review.
