MAN FACING CHARGES AFTER RUNNING FROM POLICE

A Roane County man is facing charges following a disturbance. Officers responded to locate 36-year-old Jason Elliott West of Harriman who allegedly fled from police after a domestic incident on Randolph Lane. West was found later in a field in the area of Mt. Piscah Baptist Church on Old Hen Valley Road. A check revealed West had two active warrants for his arrest. West was charged with aggravated assault in relation to the incident. West was taken into custody and transported to the Roane County jail.
