A representative from Congressman John J. “Jimmy” Duncan’s Knoxville office said today (Monday, July 31, 2017) that the U.S. Representative would not be seeking re-election for his office next year. Duncan currently serves as the representative for Tennessee’s 2nd congressional district, serving since 1988 as a member of the Republican Party. The Second Congressional District consists of the following counties: Knox, Blount, Loudon, Grainger, Claiborne and portions of Jefferson and Campbell.
