JUDGE SETS 1 MILLION BOND FOR MAN CHARGED WITH FIRST DEGREE MURDER

An area judge has set a one million dollar bond for a man charged with the death of a female. Court officials say 57-year-old Bobby Dale Haney of Cookeville was arrested for the first-degree murder of 41-year-old Donna Roam of Sparta. Officers found Roam’s body off of a logging road in western Cumberland County in December 2016. During the investigation, authorities were led to Jackson County where Haney was taken into custody. Haney was indicted on the murder charge in January of this year.
