The mistress of cartoon voices, June Foray has died, just 2 months shy of her 100th birthday. Next to the legendary Mel Blanc, Ms. Foray was the most well-known cartoon voice actress in the world. She began her illustrious career on radio in the 30’s. In the 40’s she began voicing acting in Warner Brother’s famous cartoons playing Granny and Witch Hazel. Her big break-through was during the late 50’s when she became the voice of Rocky the Flying Squirrel and Natasha Fatale in the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. She also did voice-work on countless television shows and movies. She was also the voice of the notorious doll “Talky Tina” on an episode of the Twilight Zone. Ms. Foray continued working into the 21st Century doing various voices on the Garfield Show.
