MOTORCYCLE VS. VEHICLE ACCIDENT SENDS 1 TO UT MEDICAL CENTER

A morning accident in Fairfield Glade in Cumberland County sent one person to a Knoxville hospital for treatment. Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency personnel were called to Weigel’s on Peavine Rd. around 9:30 AM Thursday morning for the report of a motorcycle vs. Vehicle. According to sources, the rider of the motorcycle, a 66-year-old male from Oliver Springs, told authorities that he pulled out in front of the vehicle causing the wreck. A landing zone was established and Lifestar airlifted the rider to UT Medical Center for neck and back injuries. No other injuries were reported.
