NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN AT FT. LOUDOUN DAM BRIDGE IN LOUDON COUNTY

Motorists traveling in Loudon County should be aware of new traffic patterns which will begin tomorrow (Tuesday, July 11, 2017) on US 321 (SR 73) at the Ft. Loudoun Dam Bridge Project. All traffic on US 321 (SR 73) will be moved to the new bridge over the Tennessee River. Traffic will still be on the existing bridge over the Tellico Canal. US 321 (SR 73) Southbound traffic will be directed to the new bridge with northbound traffic being directed onto the new Tennessee River bridge, following paving operations. Signage is in place to alert motorists of the traffic pattern changes. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present. This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions in the area.
