THREE ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY STEALING FROM CROSSVILLE THRIFT STORE

Three people were arrested by Crossville police after allegedly stealing from a thrift store. Officers responded to Threads of Hope at Woodmere Mall where an employee told them that items were stolen from the dock behind the store. Security footage from the dock revealed a van with a partial tag. The video showed a male and female inside the van get out, grabbed a television from the dock and put it into the vehicle. Two days later, the same two subjects returned and allegedly took clothing in bags with another female driving the van. The vehicle was traced back to a Elmore Lane residence. Officers made contact with the three and recognized them from the video footage. After pictures from the video was shown to the three, officers say they allegedly admitted to taking the items. According to the arrest report, 51-year-old Gerald Robert Pruett, 50-year-old Shirley Creason and 33-year-old Amber June Hubbard, all of Crossville, were each charged with theft. The items taken was recovered and returned to the store.
