ROANE DEPUTIES CHARGE SUBJECT WITH POSSESSING FIREARM DURING A FELONY

Roane County Deputies were dispatched to a gravel road at Swan Park Circle for a possible overdose Friday. A male subject, later identified as 32-year-old Danny Lee Justice of Harriman, had been behind the wheel of a parked car unconscious. When deputies arrived they found Justice revived by EMS. Justice said that he had fallen asleep waiting for his wife, and in a consent search of the vehicle in regards to possible stolen firearms, officers found three empty baggies with residue, and a small baggie containing what was believed to be meth. A carbine rifle was found in the vehicle however it did not appear on a stolen list. Justice was charged with possession, and possessing a firearm during a felony.
