An East Tennessee youngster received a special gift Tuesday in Crossville. The East Tennessee Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation helped to fulfill the wishes of young 11-year-old Ben from Gray, Tennessee. Ben, who has been staying at St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, did not request a trip to DisneyWorld, or to meet a famous Hollywood star. Ben just wanted to spend time with his family fishing from a pontoon boat. So Make-A-Wish sent Ben’s request to Crossville’s Leisure Kraft Pontune. According to Wade Davenport, the company received the request in February. Now, five months later, Make-A-Wish and Leisure Kraft presented young Ben with his very own Pontoon, which included an exclusive color scheme, embroidered seats, and fishing caps for the entire family. Davenport told 1057 News that Leisure Kraft was proud to partner with Make-A-Wish in order to make this brave young man’s dream come true.
