The Rockwood City Council passed its’ $5.2 million dollar budget on second and final reading Monday night. The meeting was held one week earlier than most due to some members being gone next week for the holidays. The budget does not raise the tax rate and gives all city employees a 2 percent raise as well as a $1000 year-end bonus. The budget allows for street paving and sidewalk repairs and adds funding to pay for the demolition of abandoned homes in the city.
