Thursday, the Tennessee Tech Board of Trustees approved a resolution outlining and ensuring free speech be allowed on campus. The policy is in response to The Campus Free Speech Protection Act, a law passed in the state legislature and signed by Gov. Bill Haslam earlier this year. The law requires the state’s public universities to adopt the policy ensuring free speech on campus.
