ROANE COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT RESPONDS TO NEAR 3,000 CALLS IN MAY 2017

In a report released today (Friday, June 16, 2017), law enforcement in Roane County responded to near 3,000 calls last month. The Roane County Sheriff’s Department responded to the majority of the calls with 1,292 followed by Harriman Police with 712, Rockwood Police with 671 and Kingston Police with 312 calls for May 2017. The top calls county wide are as follows:

Welfare Checks – 122
Domestic Calls – 107
Larceny/Vandalism – 102
Disturbances – 86
Prowler/Intruder – 83

Funeral Escorts – 70
Harrassment/Threats – 65
Reckless Driver – 44
Juvenile Problem – 39
Breaking and Entering – 26
