The humidity will be on the increase for the next few days as moisture comes up from the Gulf of Mexico and when you combine this with the 80 degree temperatures, it is going to mean those afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be on the increase. 40% Monday 50% Tuesday and Wednesday and then thunderstorms are likely on Thursday. Rainfall for the year is running about 7 inches above normal for much of the plateau so we are making up for last year which ended about 7 inches below normal. The national high temperature on Sunday was 107 at Pecos Texas and the low Was 20 degrees at Bodie State Park California
