AIR QUALITY ALERT ISSUED FOR ROANE, LOUDON AND ANDERSON COUNTIES

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation has issued an Air Quality Alert for ANDERSON, ROANE and LOUDON counties in the 105.7 The Hog listening area. No other counties in the listening area are included other than the three listed. The alert is in effect until midnight Saturday night (June 10, 2017). A Code Orange Air Quality Alert for ozone has been issued. Ground level ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy levels. Members of sensitive groups may experience health effects. The
general public is not likely to be affected.
