AAA says that they expect the upcoming Memorial Holiday Weekend to have the highest travel volume in 12 years. They project nearly 40 million people will travel 50 miles or more from their homes this year. That’s a two percent increase over last year and the greatest number since 2005. Tennessee gas prices are beginning to level off after dropping slightly over the last few weeks. You can find unleaded fuel for $2 or less per gallon in several areas. This year’s Memorial Day Holiday runs from Thursday, May 25 through Monday May 29.
