SHOTS FIRED IN OAK RIDGE HOME INVASION INCIDENT

Oak Ridge Police are looking for a suspect in an armed house invasion. Officers responded to a Louisiana Ave address at 11:45 Wed. night after a reported shooting. The male resident told police that he answered the front door upon hearing a knock and was confronted by a male dressed in black, and wearing a ski mask. The victim closed the door and ran into the house to get a weapon when he heard gunshots. He stated that he returned gunfire, and was hit by debris on the leg which caused a minor injury. A dog at the home was also hit by a projectile. Both man and dog are expected to make a full recovery. The investigation is ongoing.
