The Kingston City Council has decided to wait in regards to an ordinance involving alcohol sales at city events. Members were looking at the law particularly regarding beer sales at the city’s 2017 4th of July celebration. The council would like to expand discussions on the issue at their next work session which will be on the first Tuesday in January. At that time, the council will also take questions, concerns and comments from the public.
