CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga police are still looking for the man suspected in shooting an officer last week. Chief Fred Fletcher says the unnamed officer is recovering fine. He says one of the three shots hit the officer in his protective vest.

The reward for the suspect’s capture has climbed to $11,500.  Call 423-698-2525 with tips.

Chief Fletcher says they don’t have any video of the shooting.  He did not have a body cam and his car wasn’t pointed in the right direction to catch the action on its camera.
