///
Comments are Off

The Cumberland County Commission will hold their November monthly meeting tonight. For several months now, a group called Opponents of the Crab Orchard Wind Turbines, have come before the commission with pleas for the commission to reconsider their stance on the issue. A resolution is on the agenda to encourage the state to pass legislation in regard to the impact of industrial wind turbines. Other agenda items include three resolutions that would have citizens purchasing county property and to appoint Trevor Kerley in the position of Cumberland County Fire Chief. The meeting begins at 6 PM at the courthouse.
