FATALITY REPORTED IN TRUCK FIRE IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY THURSDAY

A horrendous accident was reported in Cumberland County on Interstate 40 Thursday afternoon around 3:30 PM. Deputies, Fire crews, Tennessee Highway Patrol Troopers and EMS personnel were called to mile marker 327 near Crab Orchard where the semi had crashed and burst into flames. According to reports, the driver, who has not been identified at this time, was pinned inside the wreckage and died at the scene. 1057 News will have more information on the wreck as it is released.

  1. This wreck was not a semi it was a regular full sized truck very very sad local man was on my way home from work seen this wreck happen and fire was instant tried to get to this young man very very sad my thoughts and prays go to this local gental mans family ????
