AMERICAN PICKERS COMING TO UPPER CUMBERLAND AREA

Everybody has seen American Pickers. That show where Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz visit people and sort through their collections of stuff looking for unique American treasures?  Know someone who has a collection you think Mike and Frank should see? Here’s your chance.  The American Pickers plan to film episodes throughout the Middle Tennessee region in November and December, according to a release from their production company, Cineflix Entertainment.

“American Pickers is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique ‘picking’ on the History Channel. The hit show follows Mike and Frank, two of the most skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. They are always excited to find sizable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them,” according to the release.  If you or someone you know has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through, send your name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to: americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 855-old-rust.
