KNOXVILLE, TN –The largest home in Tennessee is about to go on the market later this month for the not-so-low list price of $13.8 million.  The Villa Collina on Lyons View Pike, perched on a scenic hill above the Tennessee River in Knoxville, boasts nearly 37,000 square feet of space and a wealth of features.

Those afraid of getting lost may want to look elsewhere, as the home’s 50 rooms include eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and an indoor pool. Fans of the game Clue may enjoy the number of hidden doors leading to secret passageways.  The mansion’s three-story library comes with a spiral staircase, and the 3,000-square-foot cellar can hold up to 100,000 bottles of wine. One of the bedroom closets has an electric clothing rack, similar to your local dry cleaner. The marble balconies overlook the nearby Smoky Mountains.

Villa Collina, is a 37,000 square foot waterfront residence situated on 8 acres on the banks of the Tennessee River in Knoxville. The estate’s 50 rooms include 8 bedrooms, 11 full and five half bathrooms, a three-tier library, an exercise room, a home theater, and a 2,600 square foot wine cellar. Villa Collina is slated for auction by Signature Luxury Auctions on October 26, 2016

Prospective buyers may want to consider the bill prices. Annual property taxes cost around $102,000 per year. Electricity will run nearly $4,600 a month.  If you can’t wait for the home to go up for auction on Oct. 26, consider that nearly $14 million list price, which insiders say is a bargain.  To build a home of this scale now would cost about $19 million.

Sellers have already received some early bids.  Signature Luxury Auctions is handling the sale. For more information, visit www.signatureluxuryauctions.com or call Brad Pruitt, Signature Luxury COO, at 865-293-0669.
