Earlier this week, Consolidated Nuclear Security LLC and the 16 local unions that comprise the Knoxville Building and Construction Trades Council reached terms on a new five-year labor agreement expiring September 30, 2021.  The agreement also has an option for CNS to extend the new agreement without further negotiation for an additional five years through September 30, 2026. CNS operates the Pantex Plant, located in Amarillo, Texas, and the Y-12 National Security Complex, located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, under a single contract for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration.
